| Communications Project Completed for BAE at Filton |

Systems Interface has completed a contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of a new suite of Communications Equipment to BAE Systems at Bristol Filton Airport
The scope of supply included:
• New air/ground VHF and UHF Transmitters and Receivers, along with new Antennae, Masts and Equipment Shelter
• Voice Communication Control Switch (VCCS)
• Voice Recorder
• New ground/ground UHF Radio System along with Antennae, Masts and Equipment Shelter
• Radar Data Recorder
• UPS installations to support all equipment
• Operator and Maintainer Training
A spokesman from Filton Airport stated:
“Despite challenging timescales and some emergent problems through the project, the equipment was installed on time, to budget and to scope. This was mainly due to the excellent project management and high level of professionalism demonstrated by the installation team throughout.”
The award of this contract highlights once again the extensive capability that Systems Interface possess to project manage, integrate and deliver complex ATC Solutions
