Working with civil engineers Bam Nuttall Systems Interface are to provide the innovative Avlite solar taxiway lights to RAF Marham.
With a major long term construction project to redevelop the southern taxiway at the base, BAM Nuttall required a system guaranteed to provide standard lighting levels year round without any electrical infrastructure. After rigorous evaluation at RAF Marham and despite the challenges of the UK’s low solar winter, the Avlite AV70-RF lights’ performance impressed. Important to the decision is central control provided by Avlite’s intelligent mesh network remote radio control together with a frangible mounting system for ease and speed of installation.
